Hypovolemic shock is a state of decreased volume of blood plasma; victims can feel dizzy, faint, nauseous and thirsty. WONDER WOMAN VOL 1: BLOOD (The New 52). The Plot: The Steve Trevor is being debriefed about his first meeting with Wonder Woman and the Amazons of Paradise Island, while Wonder Woman explores DC and has ice cream for the first time. Longinus, a Roman soldier, poked Jesus in the side to make sure he was dead, and out came blood (symbolizing his humanity) and water (symbolizing his divinity). 1: SUPERMAN AND THE MEN OF STEEL (The New 52). I am not sure if the same spirit has been captured by the new 52 version, edgy perhaps, but still very much rooted in the past. Issues 1-6 of the New 52 Wonder Woman series are collected in Wonder Woman Vol. WORLD OF WARCRAFT: PEARL OF PANDARIA. While I definitely liked the introductory chapters to the Justice League, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Animal Man, the true gem in this sampler was Batman Vol. Taking good advantage of its large cast (I love seeing Isamot back in action) and providing more detail of the deadly new villains introduced in #1, I can't remember reading a better issue in any volume of this series and the final page left this issue also confirms that Starling is one of my favourite new characters and serves as a solid follow-up to one of the most pleasant surprises of the first month of the New 52 – 3.5 . If you're interested in picking up the series, the April issue will be WONDER WOMAN #19 and will be released later in the month. Image I've been interested in reading Wonder Woman for some time now, and decided to start afresh with The New 52 reboot. Now she's the exact opposite of that as this blood thirsty battle seeking sword wielding demigod. On Cyber Monday, Midtown Comics put all the volume 1 New 52 trades on sale at 40-percent off so I finally picked this up (along with Aquaman and JLI). The first image is of the heroes of Earth-2 – Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Robin (in the Batwing) fighting against the Parademons, as seen in Earth-2 #1.
